 Shop Daraz Now offers an excellent way to sell your products online. Daraz is great for all kinds of sellers, not only large companies with huge inventories but also small businesses with limited or one product; Daraz gives everyone an equal opportunity to grow their business by selling online.


How to Sign up

To sign up on Daraz you need 3 simple steps:

Register yourself on Daraz (click here) Fill in your information and upload your company profile Save your company password which you will use both on Daraz and on Dashboard.

Once you have registered yourself as a seller, you can log in to Daraz easily using the account details provided during registration. Once logged in, click the MY SHOPS option available at the top of the page, under the menu. Then click ADD SHOP. Daraz now requires you to fill in a few simple details about your shop, so Daraz can list your products properly. Here are the list of fields Daraz asks for:

Follow Instructions

Follow the instructions carefully, because Daraz needs accurate information to list all your items correctly. Keep attention to small details like spelling mistakes or similar products that might be listed under different names by different sellers; Daraz will not allow you to change these details once listed, so double-check every field before submitting the form. Daraz recommends that sellers upload images of products with real photos rather than product images downloaded from manufacturers.

Once Daraz has verified your company profile, Daraz will send you an activation email for each shop created by you on Daraz. You can activate your shops by clicking on the link sent in the email after verifying your account via email verification.

All Daraz orders are handled exclusively by Daraz Payment System which ensures secure transactions using state-of-the art technology, where buyers have multiple payment options available at the checkout page including cash on delivery payments. Once an order is placed through the Daraz Payment System, all queries regarding payments are handled by the Daraz Payment System. Daraz is unable to assist with any billing or payment-related questions.


Check Your Shop

Once you log in with your Daraz ID, click on the MY SHOPS option available at the top of the page under the menu. Here you will find all the shops created by you, next to each shop Daraz displays sales made through that shop. It often happens that sellers forget to update stock availability (out-of-stock products) or prices (under or overpriced products), Daraz recommends checking once a week.

To check details of an order placed on Daraz, click the MY ORDERS link available at the top of the page under the menu; enter the order ID/email address/phone number under the required fields, and press the VIEW ORDER button to view the order details. Daraz does not send further emails regarding the order, Daraz only sends the SMS containing the Order Number to the buyer's mobile number provided during registration; Daraz recommends checking your email/SMS once a day for new orders.

When you log in using your Daraz ID, Daraz displays all orders made through your shops on Daraz under the MY ORDERS link available at the top of the page under the menu after entering the correct order ID/email address/phone number. For each order Daraz displays on its portal, Daraz generates an email notification that includes the time & date of purchase and the total amount paid including shipping charges if any.

Before signing out click the UPDATE DETAILS button available next to the My Account option at the top right side of the screen to update Your Daraz ID, Shops, and add log-out options. Daraz recommends checking once a day for new orders manually from Daraz portal to stay updated.


Pricing

As Daraz is used globally by various sellers with different pricing strategies Daraz does not enforce any minimum or maximum limit on product prices unless specifically mentioned by Daraz under its terms and conditions or other policies stated here. So it's advisable that you make sure your products are priced fairly compared to other shops on Daraz along with reasonable handling charges.

Daraz calculates all shipping charges after adding the order total to the cart but before checkout, so it's important that the seller updates the price of each item before clicking the ADD TO CART button available at the top right side of the screen next to each product. Daraz does not recommend listing products without prices as Daraz cannot provide shipping quotes for such listings.

As Daraz uses automated systems to handle all Daraz portal functions, it's advisable that sellers learn the most important points mentioned above, so that Daraz can assist you in a better and efficient manner. Daraz cannot be held responsible for any financial loss resulting from failure on the part of the seller to abide by these policies or due to unavailability of Daraz services due to system downtimes/maintenance downtime etc.

If Daraz is unable to verify your company profile and shop details you will not be able to sell on Daraz. This may delay order fulfillment time as well as result in cancellations if orders are already placed in your shop. Daraz cannot be held responsible for any financial loss resulting from failure on the part of the seller to abide by Daraz policies or due to unavailability of Daraz services due to system downtimes/maintenance downtime etc


Communication

All Daraz communication is done with sellers through the Daraz website, Daraz generates email notifications after every order confirmation and status change but does not communicate via phone calls unless specifically mentioned under its terms and conditions. Daraz uses automated systems which might result in communication errors; Daraz recommends checking your emails (including spam box) once a day for new orders, updates about your shop, stock availability, etc.

If Daraz is unable to verify your company profile you will not be able to sell on Daraz; this may delay order fulfillment time as well as result in cancellations if orders are already placed on your shop Daraz cannot be held responsible for any financial loss resulting from failure on part of the seller to abide by Daraz polices or due to unavailability of Daraz services due to system downtimes/maintenance downtime etc.

Daraz offers various payment methods, however, Daraz only ensures delivery of the order to courier partner service providers, Daraz does not take responsibility for any lost/damage during transit while shipping your products. Daraz offers various courier service providers but recommends you research all couriers before choosing an appropriate one that fits your requirements. Daraz recommends requesting quotes from multiple courier companies before finalizing a provider.


Registration Fee

Daraz supports 100% free registration with the user being able to register using their Daraz email ID or by linking their Daraz account with Facebook, Google+, etc. Daraz only uses the information provided during registration for its own purposes and does not sell or share this information with anyone else unless required under law Daraz is also not responsible for any financial loss due to unauthorized sharing of Daraz ID details with third parties/others

Sellers are free to determine the sale price of their products however Daraz recommends competitive pricing in comparison with other sellers on Daraz. Sellers must ensure that the product prices (including all taxes) are updated before adding item(s) to the cart. Any orders placed against prices that differ from updated ones may attract cancellations.

Daraz cannot be held responsible for any financial loss if he is not notified of price updates in time. Daraz cannot be held responsible for any losses arising from discrepancies between prices displayed on the Daraz portal and the seller's shop(s).


Free Shipping

Sellers who offer free shipping should remember to add a reasonable handling fee to their total sale price. Daraz recommends determining this fee based on the condition/age of the product listing rather than basing it only on the weight of the product being sold, as it might discourage buyers from making purchases. Daraz cannot provide quotes for listings without correct details about item weights etc., hence Daraz recommends updating this information before adding items to the cart.

Any orders placed against incomplete listings may attract cancellations. Dar Daraz does not recommend listing product prices as 0.00, Daraz reserves the right to cancel any listing that does not have a valid price Daraz cannot be held responsible for any financial loss due to incorrect pricing of items by sellers. Daraz recommends updating correct information about stock availability and quantities before adding items to the cart. Daraz will not be able to fulfill orders if stock counts are found to have been altered after the order is placed.


Change Shop Name

If you wish to change your Daraz shop name, please contact Daraz support at the "Daraz help" email id or via Facebook or Twitter.

As per the terms and conditions of dealing on the Daraz portal, only registered companies can open their own shops on Daraz; individual retailers cannot sell on Daraz directly. The registration process requires a business registration number Daraz can offer no validity guarantee for any business registration numbers Daraz is not responsible for any financial loss if the seller has failed to provide authentic business registration documents Daraz reserves the right to cancel shops that are illegal or being run by individuals.


Payment Methods

Daraz offers multiple payment methods, however, Daraz only ensures delivery of orders to courier partner service providers Daraz is not responsible for any direct/indirect losses resulting from misuse of Daraz services including negligence, fraudulent use, etc. Daraz cannot be held responsible for unauthorized usage of Daraz accounts either by the account owner or by a third party.

You must keep your password secure and do not share it with anyone else Daraz will never ask you to transfer money via "Western Union", "Money Gram" or "Transfer funds" Daraz will never provide you with an account to withdraw money Daraz recommends contacting Daraz directly if there are any issues related to payments or transactions that have taken place using Daraz portal.

At Daraz, we take utmost care to ensure that every transaction is safe and secure. We use the most reliable payment gateway available on the market for processing your orders. Daraz can only guarantee receipt of the order amount by the courier partner service provider. Shipping costs may vary according to the distance from the seller's shipping point. Some items may fall under the free Shipping category and their respective shipping cost will be included as a handling fee, which the seller must mention while adding products to the cart.

Selling second-Hand items

The Daraz Gigs app allows Daraz users (hereinafter "Vendors") to sell their second-hand items on Daraz. However, Vendors can only publish gigs that are unique and that do not violate the rights of third parties. If you wish to list your item(s) on Daraz Gigs service ("Services"), please read this agreement carefully before completing the signup process.

By clicking on the "I agree" checkbox, or directly accessing Daraz Gigs service after you have read this agreement, you indicate that you understand and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in the Daraz Gigs Legal Agreement (the "Agreement"), which is incorporated herein by reference. Daraz ("we") may modify this Agreement at any time without prior notice to you; provided however that material changes shall be effective upon our posting them on the Daraz Gigs website (the "Site"). You can review the most current version of this Agreement by clicking on the “legal” link located on the Daraz Gigs website.

By entering into to this Agreement, you signify your assent to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, or Daraz Gigs’s privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") please do not become a Daraz user and/or continue using Daraz Gigs service.


Daraz Gigs Services

If you are an individual who wishes to use Daraz Gigs services and your Daraz account has been authorized by your company or organization (an "Authorised Entity"), then:

1. You warrant that you have the authority to bind the Authorised Entity, its directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents to this Agreement;

2. Your agreement with any Authorised Entity will only extend so far as is required for Daraz Gigs legal purposes;

3. Your agreement with any Authorised Entity will be consistent with Daraz's privacy policy, Daraz Gigs terms of service and this Agreement;

4. Daraz will not be responsible for the acts or omissions of your Authorised Entity, including any breach by your Authorised Entity of its obligations to you under this Agreement;

5. Daraz may suspend or terminate Daraz Gigs account(s) with immediate effect if Daraz determines (in its sole discretion) that such Authorised Entity fails to comply with any provision of this Agreement. However, Daraz won't be liable for any claims or complaints between you and your Authorised Entity as a result thereof;

6. Any suspension or termination described above shall not relieve you from your obligation to pay fees (if applicable), and Daraz may retain any fees already paid by you at Daraz's discretion.


Important Tips

It is your responsibility to look at the Daraz Gigs website regularly for updates on Daraz’s terms and conditions as well as any rules or policies that may be posted from time to time on the Daraz Gigs website under the “Help & FAQ” section or elsewhere.

You should review Daraz's Legal Agreement, Privacy Policy, and other published guidelines carefully before using Daraz Gigs service. This Agreement takes effect when you create a Daraz account (anywhere on Daraz), click "I agree", accept a contract with Daraz, subscribe to a newsletter offered by Daraz, etc., or after you have been notified that this Agreement has been amended in which case you will be asked to indicate your acceptance of the new Agreement.

Daraz may post a notification on Daraz Gigs website, or email you a notification that this Agreement has been amended; provided however, Daraz is under no obligation to do so and assumes no liability for failing to do so. Daraz Gigs service is subject to the Daraz policies posted on the Daraz website including Daraz’s Privacy Policy, Daraz Return policy, etc., which are incorporated herein by reference and shall form part of this agreement.

We may also offer other services governed by different terms and conditions, all such services shall together constitute "Daraz Service".
